Bootleg Canyon Flightlines – A Vegas Must-See/Do
Experience a bird’s eye view of the mountains surrounding the Vegas valley with Bootleg Canyon Flightlines. Located at the base of Red Mountain outside Boulder City there are a series of four separate zip lines varying in length from 1,150 feet to 2,545 feet.
The guided tour starts with a brief safety orientation and a scenic van ride up the mountain. Upon arrival you will take a short 15-minute hike to the first platform where you will begin at a 3,800 foot elevation looking down on the Vegas valley.
The Red Mountains housing our flightlines are ranked eighth in the world for downhill extreme mountain biking, but rather than hiking/biking you will explore the mountains from the sky.
The adrenaline rush of soaring through the canyons is rivaled by the awe inspiring beauty of the canyons, mountains and lake views while you zip along the lines more than 1,000 feet above the ground. If you are afraid of heights, this Vegas attraction will help you conquer your fear.

If you are not familiar with the zip line phenomenon, passengers sit in their own paragliding harness that is suspended on cable wires sometimes reaching speeds of 50 mph. This is a piece of Vegas that most do not experience, but it is a piece that should not be missed!
